The elegant event spaces of Plaisterers’ Hall set the scene for fundraising events. Last year the venue hosted a huge range of profitable charity events, from dinners and award ceremonies to games, quizzes and sporting events.
The grand space was the venue of choice for Haven House Children’s Hospice, who raised over £143,000 at the City space with a stunning ball and dinner by Create Food & Party Design. Similar events have included a star-studded bash to raise money for Sochi 2014 on behalf of skiiers Chemmy Alcott and Dougie Crawford, as well as a wine tasting evening on behalf of ActionAid.
Erica Snow of Haven’s House Children’s Hospice said: “I truly believe that the professionalism of the staff and the venue itself all helped in people digging deeper and donating far more than we had ever expected.Thank you to all the staff at Plaisterers’ for all their hard work and for helping it to make a night Haven House will never ever forget.” The Lady Taverners chose Plaisterers’ Hall to host an event raising money to help disadvantaged young people, whilst Send a Cow chose the venue to generate funds which will go towards helping African families out of poverty. The venue was also chosen by the British Suzuki Institute, who focus on training young musicians to bring out their natural abilities.
Lisa Cousins of Send A Cow said: “Thank you so much for supporting our event. Your team were brilliant and so professional.”
Helen Brunner of the British Suzuki Institute said: “One of our most generous donors said the lamb was “the best she had ever tasted” so congratulations to you all. Thank you from the bottom of my heart”
