Established in 2012, the Fraud Lawyers Association is a national organisation and currently has nearly 400 members. The Association chose Plaisterers’ Hall as the venue for their recent annual dinner, which took place in our Great Hall.
The evening began with a champagne reception, before guests were seated for a prestigious three-course dinner by Create. Guests enjoyed a starter of ham hock slice, served with whipped mustard butter, vegetables, black olive crumb and sourdough croute, or cherry tomato tart with olive tuile, basil and tomato mousse and pesto dressing.
Main courses were a choice of aged beef striploin with roast beet tops, turnips with a truffle pommes purée, or celeriac wellington with braised celeriac and wild mushroom wrapped in puff pastry with parsnips and Brussel sprouts.
To finish, guests enjoyed apple and caramel sticky toffee pudding, caramel gel, walnut crumble and a cinnamon ice cream, followed by coffee served with a selection of petit fours.
Following dinner, guests celebrated in the Great Hall, with dancing until late.
The Great Hall sets the scene for sophisticated events with its elegant neoclassical décor inspired by the architecture of the 18th Century. To find out more about the space or to arrange a site visit please get in touch.
