April saw the return of a fantastic series of events at Plaisterers’ in the guise of the Considerate Constructors Awards (CCA). The event recognises best practice at construction sites nationally, where sites demonstrate excellent standards of consideration towards their workforce, neighbours and the environment.
Spread over seven days and with nearly 2000 guests through the doors, attendees eagerly awaited news of whether they were winners whilst enjoying a delicious lunch washed down with some fine wines – and not a cup of ‘builders’ in sight!
The team here worked tirelessly to ensure the turnaround was swift and all was re-set to welcome the next troop of hopeful winners the following day.
Vicky Perrotton, Marketing, Events and Associate Liaison: “We have used Plaisterers’ Hall now for a number of years for our annual National Site Award ceremonies in London and have always been delighted with the service they provide as well as the delicious food supplied by Create. We take great pride in every event we hold, and we have very high standards which are always met by Plaisterers’ Hall. We thank all of the staff involved in making our 2011 National Site Awards a huge success and very much hope to work with them again in future years.”
Edward Hardy, Chief Executive, Considerate Constructors Scheme: “We are extremely pleased with the success of our 2011 National Site Awards. The Awards are the highlight of the Scheme’s calendar, so it is of the upmost importance that the delivery of these ceremonies is seamless. We have never been let down by Plaisterers’ Hall and I thank them for their great service once again.”
