150 guests were entertained by comedian Keith O'Keefe. A number of budding Paralympians chasing the London 2012 dream were present, as well as Triple Paralympic Gold Medallist swimmer Giles Long (MBE). The world of Sport also supported the evening with former Olympic and 'Strictly Come Dancing' contestant Mark Foster. Much needed funds were raised on the night for this wonderful cause and The Variety Club were very pleased with their first event at the Hall. Anne Wandsworth, who chaired the event, quoted "It was an excellent dinner last night - thank you and your staff very much for the attention that you gave to all the details." |
