Civil ceremonies and weddings

Plaisterers' Hall offers private clients one of the most attractive and flexible venues for weddings and private parties in London.

Situated close to St Paul's and the Barbican, the Hall is ideally located for guests from the City or West End to attend civil ceremonies and receptions in this beautifully appointed and welcoming venue.

The present Hall, reopened after a major refit in 2004, has décor throughout of the neo-classical style created by Robert Adam in the 18th century. The sense of timeless style provides an enviable backdrop to weddings, civil ceremonies and private parties of all kinds.

The Great Hall has floor to ceiling windows and a state of the art lighting system that complement the three massive chandeliers.

Other rooms make ideal reception rooms, dancing locations and changing rooms.

Licensed capacities for civil ceremonies:

  • Humber Room: 40 guests
  • Livery Hall: 120 guests
  • Great Hall: 300 guests
